Area Manager – Operations (Agriculture Background)

About the role

EFS Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead daily operations across multiple service sites in Jordan. The role focuses on ensuring uninterrupted service delivery, workforce productivity, client satisfaction, and strict compliance with operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations across assigned sites, routes, and service areas.
• Lead frontline teams, plan manpower deployment, and optimize workforce productivity.
• Monitor performance metrics, attendance, discipline, and compliance.
• Coordinate route planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and performance reviews.
• Maintain client relationships as the primary operational point of contact.
• Handle escalations, service disruptions, and workforce challenges.
• Collaborate with HR, logistics, procurement, maintenance, and administration to ensure operational continuity.
• Prepare and review operational reports covering service delivery, manpower utilization, incidents, and KPIs.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and operational standards are met across all sites.
• Support mobilization projects, audits, and service improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of operational experience in waste management, facilities management, logistics, cleaning services, or similar large‑scale field operations.
• Proven experience managing frontline teams and large‑scale service delivery.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent client‑relationship management skills.
• Ability to enforce SOPs, health & safety standards, and client requirements.
