Assistant AV Manager

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton, Amman is hiring a full-time, on-site Assistant AV Manager. The role supports the planning, setup, operation and breakdown of audio-visual equipment for meetings, events and banquet functions, ensuring seamless technical delivery and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with event planners, banquet teams and vendors to confirm AV requirements.
• Conduct equipment testing and troubleshoot issues during events.
• Supervise AV technicians and maintain inventory and equipment condition.
• Update documentation and adhere to safety and brand standards.
• Assist with training team members on AV procedures and help improve AV services in line with the hotel's luxury standards.

Required profile

• Experience in hotel or event AV operations, preferably in luxury hospitality, is highly beneficial.
• A technical diploma or degree in audio-visual technology, IT, engineering or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems under pressure.

Required skills

• Audio and visual technology: sound systems, projectors, lighting, video conferencing and presentation equipment.
• Event and operations coordination, including AV setup and breakdown.
• Supervisory and teamwork skills, including leading small technical teams and working with banquet, front office and sales departments.
• Customer service and communication skills.
