Assistant Manager – Anti-Fraud

About the role

The bank is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its anti‑fraud function. You will oversee the fraud risk management framework, support business units, and ensure robust fraud prevention across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the bank‑wide fraud risk management framework and support units in identifying, assessing, and mitigating fraud risks.
• Lead the annual Fraud Risk Unit plan, monitor objectives, and report to senior management and regulators.
• Develop, review, and enhance fraud prevention policies, procedures, and response plans.
• Conduct fraud risk assessments across banking processes and supervise monitoring activities, including card fraud and digital channel fraud.
• Manage Enterprise Fraud Risk solutions, VRM system, and card‑fraud monitoring platforms.
• Design methodologies for measuring fraud risk, key risk indicators, and produce analytical reports.
• Analyze fraud data, track trends, and lead investigations of external fraud cases.
• Drive fraud awareness and training initiatives for employees and customers.
• Coordinate fraud risk activities in HBTF International branches and subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Preferred Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in fraud risk management or related domains.
• Strong knowledge of Central Bank of Jordan regulations and international standards.
• Solid understanding of risk management principles and banking operations.
• Jordanian nationality.
