Assistant Manager - Retail

About the role

Ghawi Trading Company brings premium international brands to Jordan and is looking for an experienced, motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager. The role supports the Store Manager and helps run the store day to day.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in reaching daily and monthly sales targets.
• Help supervise, coach and motivate the sales team.
• Deliver excellent customer service and help handle customer requests and complaints.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with stock receiving, restocking, transfers and inventory control.
• Follow up on staff attendance, schedules, daily tasks and performance.
• Support daily reporting and POS.
• Maintain brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.

Required profile

• Retail experience; supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Good understanding of retail sales and store operations.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to follow mall hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Good command of Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with POS and inventory management systems.
• Reporting and basic data analysis skills.
