Sales Representative - Asics City Mall

About the role

Ghawi Trading Company (GTC), the exclusive partner of Asics in Jordan, is looking for an experienced, motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join its Asics team at City Mall in Amman. The position is full-time and covers sales, customer service and day-to-day store support.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
• Assist customers in choosing clothing, footwear and accessories suited to their needs and preferences.
• Maintain strong product knowledge, including sizes, materials, features and current collections.
• Promote products, special offers and new arrivals to maximise sales.
• Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat purchases and loyalty.
• Keep merchandise properly displayed, organised and replenished according to visual merchandising standards.
• Support daily store operations, including POS transactions, stock receiving, inventory control and stock transfers.
• Help customers with fitting, sizing, exchanges and returns in line with company policy.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organisation and presentation, and work with the store team to run smoothly.

Required profile

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in clothing, sportswear, footwear or fashion.
• Good knowledge of clothing, sportswear and footwear products, including sizing and materials.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Sales and upselling skills, with the ability to meet individual and store targets.
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Understanding of retail sales KPIs and performance targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; positive attitude, professional appearance and attention to detail.
• Good command of Arabic and English.
• Flexibility to work mall hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems and basic store operations is an advantage.
