Casual Lifeguard

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Casual Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at our pool facility in Aqaba. The role involves vigilant monitoring of swimmers, rapid response to emergencies, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Observe the swimming area, identify unsafe conditions, and intervene when swimmers are in distress.
• Apply appropriate rescue techniques and provide first‑aid assistance until emergency services arrive.
• Enforce pool rules and promote a safe, fun environment for all guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, handle towels, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management promptly.
• Welcome guests, ensure a professional appearance, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Inspect equipment for defects and perform physical duties such as lifting, walking, and climbing as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior lifeguard experience required.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lb unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite in a pool environment.
