Child Protection Case Management and Information Management Consultant

About the role

The Regional Child Protection Case Management and Information Management Consultant will support UNICEF country offices, governments and partners in implementing and adapting the Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS+) and Primero across East and South Africa. Working remotely with occasional travel, the consultant will help digitise case management processes for vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct technical assistance to UNICEF COs and inter‑agency partners on CPIMS+ implementation and adaptation.
• Develop and customise case management tools, SOPs, workflows and referral pathways for child protection and social welfare services.
• Design data‑protection and information‑sharing protocols, including data‑protection impact assessments.
• Support the social‑service workforce in digitising case management using CPIMS+/Primero.
• Collaborate with senior advisors, T4D and DID focal points to ensure alignment with regional strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Child Protection, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in child protection case management and information management systems in development or humanitarian settings.
• Familiarity with CPIMS+, Primero or similar digital case management platforms.
• Strong understanding of data‑protection standards and impact assessment processes.
