About the role
The Commis II will support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, cooking food, and maintaining a clean work environment in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, and test foods for proper cooking.
- Monitor food quality, ensure correct temperatures, and follow presentation and safety standards.
- Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and clean/disinfect kitchen areas and equipment.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related food‑service experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
