Compensation Intern

About the role

The Compensation Intern will join the UNRWA Compensation Unit in Amman, supporting the team in data‑driven analysis, policy review and process improvement. Working under the manager’s supervision, the intern will gain hands‑on experience in compensation management within an international humanitarian organization.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis, including salary surveys and benchmarking.
• Assist in reviewing compensation policies and tracking allowances.
• Develop reporting tools, dashboards and templates.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives such as SOP creation and digitalisation.
• Contribute to AI‑related projects and tool optimisation.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate (within one year) in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (data structuring, formulas, analytical functions).
