Customer Service & Demand Planner – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service & Demand Planner to join Syngenta Crop Protection on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role combines order management, customer liaison and demand‑planning activities to ensure timely delivery of key crop‑protection products.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and enter customer orders into the order placement tool, aligning with forecasts and planned fence times.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to update forecasts and provide order status to Key Account Managers.
• Coordinate logistics requirements, pro‑forma invoices, quotes and artwork changes with relevant internal functions.
• Monitor credit blocks, payments and handle order exceptions in collaboration with finance and trade teams.
• Support the Best View (SPS/IBP) forecasting process, ensuring daily inputs and accurate visibility of demand.
• Participate in monthly forecast reviews, SOP preparation and supply‑input meetings.
• Provide feedback on complaints, lost sales and opportunities to the commercial team.
• Deliver training sessions to customers on order‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for proactive customer interaction.
• Experience in order processing, demand planning or supply‑chain coordination.
• Knowledge of agricultural or crop‑protection product markets is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an order placement tool.
• Experience using Best View (SPS/IBP) forecasting system.
• Understanding of trade finance and credit management processes.
• Familiarity with artwork management procedures.
