Data Annotator – Emirati Arabic

About the role

We are seeking experienced Data Annotators fluent in Emirati Arabic to support audio and transcription projects, primarily for automatic speech recognition (ASR). The role focuses on high‑quality transcription, labeling, and validation of Arabic audio data while ensuring consistency across dialectal variations and code‑switching with English.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe and annotate Arabic audio files accurately according to project guidelines.
• Review and validate transcripts against the original recordings, correcting errors and dialectal inconsistencies.
• Perform speaker identification and diarization, labeling each speaker segment.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and productivity targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in data annotation, especially audio transcription for ASR.
• Strong knowledge of Emirati Arabic vocabulary, grammar, expressions, and dialectal features.
• Ability to work independently, meet quality metrics, and communicate clearly with the project team.
