Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Deputy CTO)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Deputy CTO) with a strong background in backend development to support the organization's technology leadership and software development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CTO in overseeing the organization's technology development activities.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for backend development initiatives.
• Support the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and applications.
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and the development of scalable technology solutions.
• Review technical challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support the implementation of technology strategies and engineering priorities.
• Contribute to improving backend development practices, system performance, and overall technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with the CTO and relevant stakeholders on technology‑related initiatives.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of professional experience in software development and related technology roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience in backend development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and senior management.
