About the role

The Director of Operations and Administrative Development will lead the daily operational and administrative functions of the organization, ensuring efficient service delivery across facilities, warehousing, logistics, and aid distribution. This senior role focuses on strengthening inventory systems, managing assets, and supporting program implementation in line with donor and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all administrative and operational support functions.
• Manage warehouses, storage facilities, and inventory systems, ensuring accurate stock records and periodic counts.
• Utilize ERP and electronic systems to track inventory movements and generate operational reports.
• Coordinate logistics for assistance distribution in partnership with community development centers.
• Oversee fleet operations, vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and driver supervision.
• Supervise facilities management, including cleanliness, safety, and routine maintenance of offices and warehouses.
• Manage procurement processes to ensure transparency and compliance with donor policies.
• Oversee document management, filing, archiving, and legal contract coordination.
• Lead the operations and logistics team, assign tasks, schedule work, and build staff capacity.
• Collaborate with Finance on procurement, asset management, and inventory reporting.
• Contribute to budget planning and monitor operational expenditures for cost efficiency.
