Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will design, review and implement electrical systems for infrastructure and building projects. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Zarqa and requires close collaboration with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings, calculations and specifications for building and infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams and supervise the installation of power distribution networks.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and troubleshooting of electrical issues.
• Support tender and proposal preparation with technical input.
• Maintain documentation to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles applied to construction and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and construction documents.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous site‑based engineering experience in construction or industrial projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Electrical design, including preparation of drawings, load calculations and specifications.
• Power distribution system design, selection and coordination of transformers, panels, cables and protection devices.
• Knowledge of medium‑ and low‑voltage networks, ATS and synchronization panels.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations.
