Electrical Sub-AMP Manager

About the role

The Electrical Sub-AMP Manager provides direct, intermediate‑level electrical support for military equipment, ensuring installation, maintenance, modification, and repair are performed in accordance with technical manuals and U.S. Air Force standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment used for generation, distribution, and utilization of electric energy.
• Analyze and troubleshoot maintenance problems, locating and diagnosing faults in complex systems.
• Prepare and manage required government paperwork and job packets for each maintenance action.
• Test, overhaul, modify, and maintain specialized equipment such as automatic alternator synchronizers, amplifying control units, voltage regulators, generators, control panels, and junction boxes.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and technical manuals to perform accurate repairs.
• Research, requisition materials, and generate necessary reports.
• Diagnose system malfunctions, isolate causes, and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum eight (8) years of master‑level electrician experience.
• Master Certified Electrician credential.
• Ability to read and interpret building diagrams and technical manuals.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; U.S. passport preferred.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a residency visa for Jordan.
• Willingness to work in extreme environmental conditions and endure long hours.
• DoD Secret security clearance.
