About the role
The Modern Montessori School is seeking an English Homeroom Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting August 2026. The role involves delivering the school’s English curriculum within a Montessori‑IB environment, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the school’s curriculum, policies and external assessment requirements.
- Individualise and differentiate instruction to ensure every student is stretched, supported and makes outstanding progress.
- Regularly assess in‑class and at‑home learning, providing targeted feedback to drive student progress.
- Establish a positive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported and are encouraged to take learning risks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistency across the school’s educational programmes.
