Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and, if applicable, Laundry. This role ensures guest rooms, public spaces and employee areas are clean, well maintained and meet Marriott’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping shift operations, inspections and compliance with policies.
• Manage guest room status communication, coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering for maintenance needs.
• Control departmental costs, inventory supplies and assist with ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies.
• Handle guest complaints, promote exceptional customer service and train staff.
• Participate in HR activities including staffing, performance appraisals, hiring and disciplinary procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years housekeeping experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related field.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage budgets and ensure guest satisfaction.

Required skills

• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, inventory management and budgeting.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
