Experienced Associate – Audit & Assurance (External Audit)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team in Qatar, focusing on external audit engagements for the Jordanian Resources Center (JRC). The role involves delivering high‑quality audit services, building stakeholder trust, and supporting the audit lifecycle from planning to reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt referral instructions to define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.
• Understand regulatory impact, risk management, and industry statistics relevant to each engagement.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in external audit or assurance, preferably within a Big‑Four environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex business processes.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction and team collaboration.
