Financial Reporting Services Specialist

About the role

Azadea Group, a lifestyle retail company operating more than 40 international franchise concepts across the Middle East and Africa, is hiring a Financial Reporting Services Specialist for its Business Services unit. The role covers ad hoc reporting alongside periodic and annual reporting, including consolidated and non-consolidated financial analytics, while documenting and upholding established control policies.

Key responsibilities

• Create internal reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Assist in preparing analytical insights for consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Take part in special projects and carry out ad hoc analyses as requested.
• Help uphold policies and procedures by identifying and implementing best practices that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting.
• Plan and run the monthly consolidation process, making sure all elimination entries are processed correctly.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of shareholders' equity and cash flow statement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; a Master's degree is a major plus.
• Two to four years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English; fluency in French is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
