Fire & Environment Team Leader

About the role

The Fire & Environment Team Leader oversees the daily operations of the fire and environmental protection team, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while supporting the maintenance of property assets. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the role combines leadership, audit coordination, and training development.

Key responsibilities

• Define fire and environmental procedures for inspections, improvements, and changes.
• Monitor performance, issue Non‑Conformance Reports, and ensure corrective actions are completed by maintenance teams.
• Organise and lead fire and environmental audits, diagnostics, and resulting action plans.
• Develop and deliver fire and environment awareness and training programs for staff and managers.
• Conduct field examinations, report hazardous locations and materials, and recommend mitigation solutions.
• Supervise collection and analysis of wastewater, dust, emissions, foam, and other test samples.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in facilities, fire, and environmental management.
• Professional certifications preferred (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, Jordanian OSHI).
• Valid Jordanian driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
