FP&A Specialist – R&D

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist – R&D will partner with cross‑functional R&D and commercial teams to guide investment decisions across Hikma’s R&D portfolio. You will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, reporting and providing analytical support throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts, budgets and financial plans for R&D projects.
• Perform light accounting close activities and prepare regular financial reports.
• Analyze cash‑flow implications of pipeline products from development to launch and maturity.
• Support trade‑off decisions by evaluating financial feasibility of R&D initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to track spend against budgets and produce organization‑wide budget updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the full MS Office suite.
• Experience handling large data sets and using financial planning tools.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools (e.g., PowerBI) and ERP systems is desirable.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• At least a couple of years of experience in a financial planning or accounting role.
