General Accountant – Daily Cash & Revenue Management

About the role

The General Accountant is fully responsible for managing daily cash and credit sales, ensuring accurate receipt documentation, and safeguarding the company's revenue across all branches.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily revenue and purchase transactions for all branches in the accounting system.
• Reconcile daily revenues with related cash and credit card payments.
• Verify that all cash revenues are deposited into the company’s bank account using branch deposit slips.
• Maintain regular communication with credit‑card companies and monitor daily settlement of outstanding payments.
• Perform daily reconciliation of credit‑card company accounts.
• Ensure employee account invoices or outstanding balances are deducted through the monthly payroll process.
• Prepare and submit a daily report of all branch transactions and accounts‑receivable activities to the Finance Manager.
• Maintain organized daily accounts‑receivable records to provide a complete audit trail.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Finance Manager via official email communication.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
• Ability to handle cash, credit, and bank deposit processes responsibly.
• Effective communication with branch managers and external credit‑card partners.
• Proactive approach to daily reconciliation and reporting.
