General Engineering Technician & Electrician

About the role

We are looking for a General Engineering Technician & Electrician to join our hospitality team in Amman. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, HVAC, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, including light bulbs, switches, outlets, and A/C filters.
• Carry out minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document shift activities.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler systems.
• Program televisions and update HVAC schedules via computer.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Ability to follow safety and security policies, wear appropriate uniform, and protect company assets.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with guests and team members.
• Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier tasks with assistance.
