Global Process Owner - Record to Report

About the role

The Finance Global Process Owner – Record to Report leads the worldwide R2R cycle, ensuring consistent, high‑quality accounting outputs and compliance across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a cross‑regional team responsible for the end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) process.
• Oversee general ledger, journal processing, fixed‑asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations and financial close activities.
• Develop and enforce standardized accounting policies, process frameworks and control mechanisms across all geographies.
• Maintain global process documentation, RACI and control matrices and drive transformation programmes to improve efficiency and automation.
• Coordinate the global financial close calendar and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree considered an asset.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CIMA.
• 10‑15 years of progressive finance experience with extensive Record‑to‑Report exposure in a multinational environment.
• Proven leadership of global or regional finance teams and experience managing complex stakeholder groups.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP platforms – SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting and workflow management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance transformation, process improvement and automation initiatives.
