Head of Business Development – MENA

About the role

ZettaZetta Global is expanding rapidly across the MENA region and seeks a Hunter‑profile Head of Business Development to own new‑business growth in tech outsourcing and data engineering services. You will build the pipeline from day one, close new logos, and establish a high‑performing sales unit.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve an ambitious annual sales quota through net‑new business.
• Leverage existing network to generate and close leads in tech outsourcing, product, and data engineering services.
• Identify opportunities across multiple MENA markets, prioritising based on network strength and market potential.
• Run the full sales cycle from outreach to signed contract, including negotiation of MSAs and SOWs.
• Build, hire, coach, and manage a dedicated sales team for the region.
• Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation, lead qualification and go‑to‑market alignment.
• Represent Zetta at industry events to increase market presence.
• Monitor pipeline health, forecast revenue and report to leadership.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in tech outsourcing, IT services, products or data engineering.
• Proven hunter track record with new‑business quota attainment.
• Experience in a startup/scale‑up environment building sales functions from scratch.
• Prior experience hiring and leading a sales team.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
