Housekeeping Manager (Style Manager)

About the role

The Style Manager (Housekeeping Manager) oversees daily shift operations for housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry services. The role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and employee zones are clean, well‑maintained, and meet brand standards while supporting guest and employee satisfaction and adhering to budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise housekeeping staff during each shift, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces daily, communicate room status to the Front Desk, and assign cleaning priorities.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, verify adequate stock, and ensure all employees have necessary equipment and uniforms.
• Manage departmental budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Conduct training for new room attendants, schedule staff according to business demand, and track attendance.
• Administer property policies, handle disciplinary actions, and support employee recognition programs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required for degree holders).
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, budgeting, and guest service standards.
