ICT Associate (Gaza Response)

About the role

The ICT Associate will support the ICT unit in the Amman office, providing end‑user and network assistance as part of the Gaza Response. The role works under the Senior ICT Associate and coordinates with the Global ITC Service Center in Manila.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier‑1 technical support, diagnose incidents, log actions and resolve or escalate issues.
• Maintain network and system devices, including servers (physical and virtual), switches, routers and related hardware.
• Install, relocate and service hardware, manage user accounts and keep an up‑to‑date inventory of software licences and equipment.
• Apply patches and firmware updates to operating systems and applications across workstations and devices.
• Document ICT configurations and changes, and update global user support on planned modifications.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science (or high school/diploma with equivalent experience).
• Three years (degree) or five years (diploma/high school) of professional experience in LAN/WAN networking and Tier‑1 desktop support.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Experience with international agencies is advantageous.
