Income Auditor Clerk

About the role

The Income Auditor Clerk supports the finance team by ensuring all financial entries are accurate, properly coded and compliant with company policies. Working at Marriott International’s Westin property in Aqaba, you will handle a variety of accounting and auditing tasks in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings and documents for mathematical accuracy and correct coding.
• Organise, secure and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents according to established procedures.
• Record, store and analyse computerized financial information and maintain electronic spreadsheets.
• Classify, code and summarise numerical data using journals, ledgers and computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain and distribute financial, accounting, auditing and payroll reports.
• Execute period‑end closing procedures and generate required reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue invoices, bills and account statements.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of employee and property records.
• Support employee‑related administrative tasks and coordinate celebrations.
• Provide professional service to internal and external stakeholders, answering calls and emails courteously.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant experience in finance, accounting or auditing.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional appearance and adherence to company policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in maintaining electronic spreadsheets.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and journal/ledger entries.
• Familiarity with computerised financial systems.
