Information Technology Officer

About the role

The Information Technology Officer will ensure the smooth operation and security of all computer hardware, software, and related systems within a hospitality environment. The role combines hands‑on technical support with inventory management and documentation duties.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operation and security of all computer hardware, ensuring proper functionality.
• Serve as the primary contact for servicing computers, printers, telephones, interactive systems, and key‑lock systems.
• Maintain inventory of office and computer supplies and keep hardware/software logs up to date.
• Document hardware configurations, telephone system settings, and MPT line details.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on PCs, printers, telephones, and related equipment.
• Manage user access requests and authorizations for Windows 2000, email, Opera, Micros, and Novell systems.
• Respond promptly to user support requests, providing effective solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar IT support role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong command of English.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
