Italian Chef de Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Italian Chef de Cuisine to lead the kitchen of our restaurant in Amman. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, consistent Italian cuisine while managing all food‑related operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food & beverage policies, sanitation and safety standards.
• Develop, design and execute new menu items, seasonal dishes and special guest meals.
• Plan and control food quantities, plating requirements and production estimates.
• Supervise, train and schedule kitchen staff, stepping in to prepare dishes as needed.
• Manage purchasing, inventory and storage to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure adherence to local laws, regulations and quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of culinary experience, or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel & Restaurant Management with 2 years experience.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work within an operating budget.
