Kitchen and Laundry Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen and Laundry Technician to support the daily operation of our hotel facilities in Amman. The role involves maintaining vehicles, tools and equipment used by the kitchen and laundry departments, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on property vehicles such as engineering trucks, shuttle vans and electric carts (oil, fluid levels, tire pressure, battery charging, spark plug replacement).
• Carry out preventative maintenance on kitchen and laundry tools and equipment, including cleaning, lubrication and part replacement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, test results and instrument readings.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies, requisitioning items as needed.
• Follow all company safety, security and environmental policies; report hazards and incidents.
• Assist with physical tasks such as moving, lifting (up to 50 lb), pushing, pulling and positioning equipment.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum two years of relevant maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Full‑time availability.

Required skills

• Vehicle maintenance (oil checks, fluid levels, tire pressure, battery charging, spark plug replacement).
• Tool and equipment maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, part replacement).
• Preventative maintenance planning and execution.
• Inventory tracking and parts requisition.
• Adherence to safety and security procedures.
