Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Attendant to join our hotel’s housekeeping team in Amman. You will be responsible for operating washing, drying and dry‑cleaning equipment, ensuring all linens and garments are returned clean, fresh and ready for guest use.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, drying and dry‑cleaning machines, adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps as required.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide on rewash, spot‑treatment, repair or discard.
• Inspect cleaned items for quality and place them in the appropriate linen carts.
• Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric type and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Fold linens and garments by hand or using a folding machine to designated sizes.
• Maintain accurate records of all items processed.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any incidents.

Required profile

• No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent is optional.
• No prior laundry experience required – training will be provided.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lb.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and uphold confidentiality.
