Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests and employees at our Aqaba location. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems and respond swiftly to incidents, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Handle guest or employee disturbances, defuse conflicts and call for external assistance when needed.
• Complete incident, shift‑summary and daily activity reports while maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
• Escort unwelcome persons and report vehicle accidents or thefts.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Professional appearance and adherence to company policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies.
