Loss Prevention Officer – Security & Safety

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees, and property assets at our Amman location. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and report incidents.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and licensing requirements where applicable.
