Manager - Forensic & Integrity

About the role

EY's Forensic & Integrity Services practice helps organisations protect and restore their reputation, assisting companies and their legal counsel in investigating facts, resolving disputes and managing regulatory challenges. EY is looking for a Manager from Investigation and Compliance to join its Forensic & Integrity team in the MENA region, based in Amman. The position is open to Arabic speakers only.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate compliance and ethics, forensic accounting, and financial and economic damage analyses in a growing, multidisciplinary team.
• Work and lead challenging projects on white-collar crime and fraud investigations.
• Anticipate client needs and prepare work plans, reviewing electronic data, accounting, financial and non-financial records.
• Ensure high-quality working papers and analysis, and prepare client deliverables including forensic and investigation reports, presenting findings to clients.
• Liaise with senior client personnel, in-house counsel, external legal teams, witnesses and regulators.
• Coach team members, share knowledge and take part in sales and marketing efforts such as promoting the practice and firm at internal and external events.
• Stay up to date on regulatory, business and economic developments and meet mandatory compliance, learning and professional requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; a degree in Forensic studies is a plus.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in forensics (compliance, anti-bribery and corruption, fraud), risk management and compliance in large professional services firms.
• Industry-related certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner and/or CPA.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time within the MENA region.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with spoken and written English; leadership experience in a challenging environment.
