Mergers & Acquisitions Executive / Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Executive / Assistant Manager to join EY Parthenon’s high‑performing M&A team in Jordan. The role will support senior managers and partners in evaluating strategic fit, managing deal cycles, and delivering high‑quality client deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assessing strategic fit of target businesses and projecting synergies.
• Manage transaction timelines, coordinate with counterparties and advisers, and ensure milestones are met.
• Prepare client reports, fundraising documentation, and acquisition/disposal paperwork.
• Conduct financial modelling and analysis to support negotiations and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with junior colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field from a reputable university.
• 3‑4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or professional services, with exposure to both buy‑side and sell‑side transactions.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven track record of producing high‑quality professional documents.
