Night Manager I

About the role

The Night Manager I serves as the Property Manager on Duty, overseeing all hotel operations during the overnight shift. This role ensures the highest standards of hospitality and service are maintained, representing property management in resolving guest and property issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor property operations to ensure compliance with guidelines, proper employee uniform and grooming, safe work environment, and accurate period‑end inventories.
• Support profitability and revenue goals by reviewing financial statements, handling guest issues, managing cash procedures, chargebacks, rebates, and employee hours.
• Promote human‑resource activities such as safety programs, attendance tracking, teamwork, employee morale, performance reviews, emergency procedures, and weekly payroll processing.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related area.
• Or a 2‑year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field combined with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
