Operations Manager – Holiday Let Portfolio (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day running of our expanding UK short‑term rental portfolio. The role is fully remote and ideal for a proactive, highly organised professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of holiday let and serviced accommodation properties across the UK.
• Oversee Airbnb and Booking.com accounts and maintain accurate listings via the Lodgify channel manager.
• Handle guest communications through chat and phone, ensuring excellent service.
• Coordinate bookings, calendars, and dynamic pricing tools such as PriceLabs.
• Onboard new properties – create listings, upload photos, write descriptions, and set pricing.
• Arrange maintenance, liaise with contractors, and schedule cleaning teams.
• Supervise guest check‑ins and check‑outs and maintain compliance documentation (Gas Safety, EICR, insurance, etc.).
• Identify process improvements and help reduce operational costs.
• Manage guest messaging automation platforms like ChargeAutomation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years managing holiday lets, serviced accommodation, or short‑term rental operations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, able to juggle multiple properties.
• Independent worker who remains calm during urgent situations (guest complaints, maintenance emergencies, lockouts).
• High attention to detail, especially for compliance and documentation.
• Trustworthy with sensitive financial and owner information.
• Solution‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
