Operations Officer

About the role

The Operations Officer will manage day‑to‑day ground operations for tours across Jordan, ensuring smooth transfers, guide assignments and site visits while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily ground operations, including transfers, guide assignments, and site visits.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers, local guides, and suppliers to ensure itinerary compliance.
• Monitor guest arrivals, departures, and cross‑border movements in real time and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Communicate regularly with client account managers and partners to provide operational updates.
• Conduct quality control checks on transportation vehicles, excursion logistics, and guest safety protocols.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in DMC or tour operator ground operations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic; additional languages a plus.
• Valid driver’s license for field movements and site visits.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills, able to handle high‑pressure situations and last‑minute itinerary changes.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on‑call duties during peak travel seasons.
