Partnerships and Advocacy Consultant

About the role

The Partnerships and Advocacy Consultant will support UNICEF's Child Protection and Migration practice by developing high‑quality concept notes, proposals, donor reports, and advocacy messages to drive resource mobilisation and increase global visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare up to 15 brief concept notes for donor partners.
• Develop up to 10 proposals supporting resource mobilisation initiatives.
• Produce up to 10 donor reports that clearly demonstrate results for children.
• Create up to 12 sets of advocacy messages and talking points for various audiences.
• Design up to 6 presentations summarising concept notes for donor engagements.
• Draft up to 15 information sheets on thematic areas within child protection and migration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Project Management, Social Work or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in resource mobilisation, proposal and report writing, preferably for UN agencies or NGOs.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong written communication, including concept note and proposal development.
• Excellent report writing and advocacy messaging abilities.
• Proficient in creating presentations and information sheets.
