Power BI & Power Platform Developer – MEL Data Officer

About the role

The MEL Data Science Officer joins Orbis’s Global Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) team to strengthen data systems through engineering, analytics, automation and governance. This hands‑on technical position supports data integration across programs and countries, delivering timely insights for the organization’s sight‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and automated reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain standardized data models and Dataverse structures.
• Implement ETL processes and ensure data quality, accessibility and interoperability.
• Create Power BI dashboards for monitoring, reporting and performance analysis.
• Provide high‑level technical support, training and troubleshooting to MEL stakeholders worldwide.
• Collaborate with MEL, program and IS/IT teams to align data systems with global reporting requirements.

Required profile

• 5–9 years of experience in data engineering, analytics or business intelligence.
• Proven ability to work independently in a global, multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Strong communication skills for technical support and training.
