Programme Associate (GS6) – Fixed Term – Global Programme Division

About the role

The Programme Associate provides specialised programme and administrative support to UNICEF's Global Programme Division in Amman. Working under supervision, the associate contributes across the full programme cycle, from planning and partnership coordination to data analysis and reporting, with a focus on digital innovation and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, partnership coordination and implementation of programme activities.
• Conduct data analysis, prepare reports and ensure timely information flow.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of digital tools that improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Centre of Excellence to align country‑level work with global policies and standards.
• Contribute to policy reform, at‑scale programme design, public finance and workforce development initiatives.

• Under supervision, provide specialised programme and administrative support.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with data.
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Understanding of UNICEF’s mission, policies and programme frameworks.
