Project Manager – Strategic Banking Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic, enterprise‑wide initiatives for a leading bank. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of project delivery, ensuring alignment with the bank’s governance framework and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations and roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage external partners to achieve project goals.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare governance artifacts, executive presentations and status reports.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s Project Governance Framework, policies and standards.
• Track budgets, control costs and report financial performance.
• Participate in vendor evaluation, selection, contract recommendation and performance monitoring.
• Measure project performance using KPIs and earned‑value metrics.
• Support Business Continuity and Emergency Response activities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Professional certifications such as PMP and Agile certifications (Scrum, PMI‑ACP, SAFe) are highly preferred.
