Quality Assurance Intern – Technology & Digital Innovation

About the role

We are seeking a fresh graduate to join the Technology and Digital Innovation Department for a one‑year internship under the Zain Youth Program. The role focuses on ensuring the quality of commercial products and IT projects through systematic testing and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform system integration tests for commercial products and IT projects, ensuring they are free of bugs.
• Develop and maintain quality‑assurance automation scripts to accelerate testing and improve time‑to‑market.
• Automate manual procedures using current technologies to reduce manual effort.
• Handle customer cases and complaints received through IT systems, analysing and resolving them promptly.
• Communicate with technical and customer‑facing teams to expedite resolution of complaints and requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related IT field.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication, follow‑up and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of object‑oriented programming languages.
• Proficiency with databases and SQL commands.
• Familiarity with testing automation tools.
• Understanding of quality‑assurance procedures.
