Recreational Services Associate

About the role

The Recreational Services Associate supports the daily operations of the Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) center, lounge/bar, learning resource center, theater, and related facilities. You will deliver high‑quality customer service, manage inventory, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cash registers, handle customer transactions, and perform bartending duties.
• Maintain cleanliness, perform basic repairs, and manage equipment inventory across all recreation venues.
• Set up and break down events, tours, and special activities, including furniture, audio‑visual gear, and staging.
• Track and issue CAC equipment to guests, ensuring proper documentation.
• Provide complimentary snacks, manage alcohol sales, and keep accurate inventory records in line with AF, AFCENT, and EFSS procedures.
• Monitor and escort the LN workforce per 332 AEWI and AFCENTI 32‑1002 requirements, obtaining an escort badge as needed.
• Complete all required Vectrus and Government training courses and adhere to time‑reporting and timesheet procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests.
• Attention to detail for inventory control, cash handling, and equipment tracking.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and event logistics.
• Willingness to follow safety, security, and procedural guidelines.
