Recreational Services Associate

About the role

The Recreational Services Associate supports daily operations of the Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) center, lounge/bar, learning resource center, theater, media center, and information ticket and tours services. This position ensures guests receive excellent customer service while maintaining safe, clean, and well‑stocked facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cashier, bartending, and customer‑service duties across all recreational venues.
• Maintain and clean equipment, furniture, and facilities; conduct basic repairs and routine maintenance.
• Manage inventory, stock supplies, and track CAC equipment issuance.
• Set up and break down government‑furnished equipment for events, tours, and special activities.
• Provide complimentary snacks, oversee alcohol sales, and ensure accurate inventory compliance with AF, AFCENT, and EFSS procedures.
• Escort LN workforce per 332 AEWI and AFCENTI 32‑1002 requirements, obtaining an escort badge.
• Complete all required Vectrus and Government training courses.
• Safeguard government and contractor property and adhere to precise time‑reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests.
• Attention to detail for inventory control, equipment tracking, and compliance with security protocols.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks such as cleaning, equipment setup, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an escort badge and complete mandatory training.
