Regional Risk & Security Manager – Middle East & Asia

About the role

CARE is seeking an experienced Regional Risk & Security Manager to provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and operational support across its Middle East and Asia portfolio. The role safeguards people, programs, assets, and the organization’s reputation while enabling safe delivery of humanitarian assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen organizational readiness and develop proactive risk‑management strategies.
• Lead crisis‑response efforts and coordinate security actions across country offices.
• Advise senior leaders and mentor country‑level security professionals.
• Ensure robust systems, processes, and protocols for safe operations in rapidly evolving environments.
• Collaborate with the global Safety, Operations and Risk (SOAR) team and regional leadership.

Required profile

• Seasoned humanitarian risk professional with extensive experience in complex security contexts.
• Strategic thinker capable of navigating political, social, and security landscapes.
• Collaborative leader who can influence senior stakeholders and build effective teams.
