About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Regional Staff Counsellor (P4) on a fixed‑term basis for its ECAMENA Regional Office in Amman, Jordan. The role supports the office’s mission to promote child rights across a diverse region.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and governance support to the ECAMENA Regional Office.
- Represent UNICEF regionally and engage with political stakeholders.
- Oversee programme knowledge, foresight and digital transformation initiatives.
- Promote people‑centered management, staff wellbeing and psychological safety.
- Assist with financial and risk management, supply and logistics, and emergency preparedness.
- Contribute to communication, advocacy, partnerships and financing efforts.
Required profile
- Commitment to UNICEF’s values and to fostering a resilient, inclusive workplace.
- Experience working in complex, multi‑country environments.
