Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for guests seeking to book, modify, or cancel stays at The Ritz-Carlton Amman. You will ensure accurate reservations, convey hotel policies, and provide exceptional service that reflects the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Accommodate and document special requests and answer questions about hotel facilities and services.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input all data accurately into the reservation system.
• Code special room types such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, and wholesale reservations.
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns and adhere to all company policies and confidentiality standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance, welcome guests, and support a positive team environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
• Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Commitment to uphold privacy, security, and quality‑assurance standards.
