About the role

The Heart of House Specialist – Steward Attendant supports essential hotel operations by ensuring cleanliness and readiness of kitchen, dining, and laundry areas. This full‑time, onsite role is based at the Amman Marriott Hotel and is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‑on work in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry areas according to hotel standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware, utensils, and linens throughout the hotel safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold quality standards.
• Lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 lb without assistance; stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Reach overhead, bend, twist, and stoop as required to complete cleaning tasks.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience or supervisory experience needed.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, and move repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and professional appearance.
